Saffron is a teenage girl that until recently though her mum had died and that her only family was her father. An attic visit was all it took to change that! Her mum is alive and well, her father knew it and still hide it from her... The feeling of betrayal was so overwhelming that she decided to leave the house putting herself in great danger. Interesting story, exposing a true life drama that happens more often than is in fact believed.
I think is a good book with a powerful and engaging narrative. This is my first book from the author and although is not my first choice of topic, I think it can bring different and interesting angles to ones reality. Overall, this book gets four stars from me.
