Saffron or Saggy for short is a self centred , opinionated, spoilt 17 year old, who like so many teeenagers, thinks she knows everything, but when she uncovers a hidden secret, a secret to do with her mother's disappearance, it's a secret she wishes she hadn't found, one that has her packing her bags and leaving everything she knows bwhind, including her dad and his new wife, her "bitch-stepmother" .

How she copes and her determination to survive, how her family cope without her and how they look for her , is beautifully written, I know it's aimed at teens but I think very parent will enjoy the book, It's an eyeopener, I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks
