I found this book a bit difficult to get in to and it took me longer to read than I expected. However, I do feel that it covered a lot of very important topics that anyone could experience at any point in their life.
At times Saffron felt like a bit of a spoilt child, but this experience opened her up and taught her how to be a better person. I enjoyed reading about her relationships with people that she would have felt had been below her. And the ups and downs she experienced over the period of a week.
This book is a good, thought provoking story. It really makes you consider what your friends and family might be going through when you think you have hit rock bottom! Would be a great eye opener for a young person.
