This is young adult fiction and I found it to be very well written, with realistic, likeable characters. There is a main theme of homelessness in this novel and as this is becoming more and more prevalent here in the UK, this highlighted the awful effect this has on the people affected . Such an eye opener.

The book is written from Saffron and her friend Tom’s viewpoint and we meet Maggie who has spent most of her life living on the streets. There are twists and turns in this thought provoking book. I can recommend it.
