Next we are in the Bodmin madhouse where the wrongly imprisoned, (according to the blurb) Madeleine Pelligrew , is incarcerated. Presumably the stranger who is coming to release her is one of the good guys but it’s not entirely clear. Neither is the writing which errs on the side of floweriness. Still the premise is interesting and I feel sure that if I had the book I would still be reading it, so I am giving it a very positive review.
