There certainly seems to be a lot going on in The Cornish Captive. The twists and turns in the blurb alone outdo many a book but when it comes to the final question - can she find the strength to follow her heart no matter the personal cost - I didn't find myself desperate to find out but I'm sure it capture the interest of plenty of others. The cover doesn't really appeal to me but it seems like it's aimed squarely at a female audience so that's probably fine.
