From the First Look this looks like an interesting book, but unfortunately is not one I would choose.
The atmosphere is created from the first page and I'm sure that a good story will follow but it didn't grab me. I lost interest as soon as I saw the family tree and the long list of characters. I think you need to enjoy this type of historical yarn to get the best from this book.
