This sounds like a potentially interesting plot for a book but I’m not sure that the story would be for me. I enjoy reading historical fiction and absolutely love Cornwall so on many levels I’m sure I would enjoy it but I am put off by the fact that it is a later book in a series. I haven’t read anything else by this author.
