I am a great fan of Bridgerton but this synopsis did not capture my attention. The front cover is very cliche and this is not a book I would pick off the shelf. The woman in the picture is very well groomed for someone who is being held captive. However, I would be prepared to give it a try on the back of the success of Bridgerton.
