I don’t gravitate to books of this genre and they don’t normally get more than a glance. I’m not sure what was going on in this extract and i was confused for the majority of it. This could be the case as it seems as if it is part of a series or because it is not my normal. But I do occasionally pick up books with a historical setting.
I’m not a huge fan of the cover at all as i think it isn’t aesthetically pleasing and wouldn’t catch my eye however could go with the theme of the book. The title as well doesn’t intrigue me.
