I really loved this book. Even though it’s number 6 in a series it did not stop me from throughly enjoying this. You can totally read it as a stand alone book.
I loved the characters and how everyone seemed suspicious and unknown in the beginning but then everything could change on a sixpence.
Love Madeline. She’s such a strong and amazing women. Everything you would want as a heroine of a story. And I adored the fact she managed to sorted everything out despite the interference of horrible men.
Never read anything from this time period even though I love historical fiction and I now feel like I want to read the other 5 books in this series. And anymore this author will write.
