I enjoyed this book, although wonder if I would of gained more by reading the other books in the series. It would of been nice to know more back history, although the author does give give insights to the past. The main character is very likable and easy to relate to. The author does a good job of giving just enough background information on each character to feel like you know them. I loved the ending of the book and would like to read any sequels. The love story between the two main characters is perfect. It's not rushed to forced and has just enough hints of romance to want you to keep reading. I would of loved to of heard more about Rowan and the back history and indeed future history of her character too. Some parts seemed a little far fetched at points, and a little bit too lucky! Overall an easy read and although not breathtaking definitely worth a read.
