I enjoyed reading The Cornish Captivee by Nicola Pryce, at first I was a little confused and it took me time to remember who some of the people in the story were as they do go by alias names were but I soon got into it and couldn't wait to see what happened to Miss Madeline and other key characters in the story. This book definable made me want to read more and I finished it within a weekend. I would now be likely to keep a eye out for the author Nicola Pryces other books as I enjoyed the time period and style of writing of this book so would like to read these too as a few of them still follow the characters in The Cornish Captive.
I've passed this book onto my mum to read as this is also a book I know she will enjoy as much as I did.
The cornish Captive is a easy read with a feel good factor in it, set in the 1800s you do feel as if you have been transported back to a bygone time.
