Overall, I thought this book was good. This is not usually my genre as historical is usually executed poorly and doesn't connect with me, but this seemed to pull me in. This is a historical romance based in the 1800's in Cornwall, I read this book while in Cornwall on a trip down there for a week so I was in the right area. I thought that made the experience of the book better. I think the writing style was easy to read and had just enough detail to keep me intrigued throughout without loosing me completely, the pacing of the book was beautiful and I loved the front cover of the book.
Going forward I will be reading from this author again and I will look out for more of her work, I have also ordered from the other previous books in this series as I think they are beautiful and have changed my mind on historical romances so I would recommend even if this is not your usual genre.
