I always love a cute Christmas story, especially one that is set in a village with a traditional event. The Country Village Christmas Show sounds like the perfect one with all the Christmas spirit I would expect.
I like the fact that the main character, Clare, is not the typical young character who happens to stumble upon someone she falls in love with but rather an older character who has a grown up child and is recently divorced.
I'm intrigued to find out more. I would presume that, given the nature of the book and similar style books within this genre, Clare manages to pull off the show and falls in love. However, I'm interested to find out what happens along the way and how the author writes this in a way that is different.
The cover is really pretty and exactly what I'd expect for a Christmas story. It gives me the typical traditional yet also modern village feeling and is perfectly coloured.
I think I shall be getting a copy of this to add to my collection ready for Christmas!
