Cathy Lake was very descriptive in her story telling, Which helped give an insight into the mind of the central characters Clare and Sam. I felt sympathy for Clare's situation in particular but I am hopeful for her future and keen to find out what links these two characters later on in the book. It was a very enticing beginning and I would have loved to read on!
