My first impression were that the book sounds very interesting from the first 2ish chapters. All about Clare and Sam. Clare is a recently divorced ex Liberian who devoted her life to her ex husband and son Kyle who finds herself having to start over and move back ‘home’ with her mother. Sam is a man who seems very content with his life at present is part owner of a vets and has a dog called Scout which he loves to take for walks around the countryside. Not my usual type of read but it kept me hooked enough to want to read more and see what happens to these two characters
