The perfect start to a journey of discovery

It seems quite apparent that the main character needs to re-find herself, having got muddled in a world of just being a mother and a wife. Now that her marriage has been ripped away from her, she needs to remember that there was life before marriage, and a younger version of herself waiting to get back to the surface! And what better place to go on such a journey as the home she grew up in. The introduction of Sam makes me think that a predictable romance story could be on the cards, but I’m interested to see how the author mingles the two characters together. And who doesn’t love a book about Christmas?!
