Unoriginal
Clare decides to move back to the countryside village, Little Bramble, where she grew up in, and stay with her Mum and Goliath the Great Dane.
First impression: Slow. The first 22 pages are dull description, but one may say they are building the story. Page 24 and 25 nicely summarise the characters and I felt no need to go back and read anything. The rest I guess is about Clare meeting and falling for a man which just feels predictable. I'm guessing they all live happily ever after. If I picked this up in a shop and read the first 25 pages, I would have skipped to the end to check I was right.
It could be a great story, but it feels like a cliche.
Nice cover. I would pick it up in a shop to read the blurb.
In summary: not for me.
