I really enjoyed this book. It feels a bit weird, only reviewing this now when I read it in December and it's now March, but I can still remember how much I loved sitting down to read this back then, getting all cosy with a blanket and a cup of tea - perfect winter reading. I loved the setting and the storyline, which was really with the Christmas spirit and was definitely made for reading at that time of the year. I always like something a bit lighter, easier and more enjoyable around Christmastime rather than anything serious or thought-provoking - and this was definitely the former. It did take me a little while to really click with the characters and appreciate their personalities and connections. Overall, it was a very good book that I would recommend to anyone I know for a lovely, seasonal read. Thank you again for giving me the chance to review it.
