I really enjoyed this book - it is very much the winter warmer feel good book to curl up and enjoy on cold winter months to get into the spirit of approaching Christmas.

I could totally identify with the character from the very first paragraph and was impressed how the writer managed to reflect on the real thoughts of a mother with grown up children and an empty nest and the last farewell to a home which holds so many memories of the family as she now faces a divorce.

Our heroine is clearly alone and bruised and facing the uncertainty of a new life and the challenges it brings by herself in a new town.

It is very well written and flows thoughtfully. Did not require too much thinking - almost like watching a Christmas movie! I highly recommend this book as a good bit of escapism. Would suit very well as a Christmas present or stocking filler for the coming winter months.
