This is such a cute Christmas story. It is a bit typical and kind of repeated, but I still adore it.
My favourite thing is Claire's relationship with the Great Dane. I like the fact that she has decided to have something for just herself and I like Claire's character overall.
The move back to a small town at Christmas is a plot that I enjoy every single time I read about, or watch it. The thoughts of a close knit town with lots of quirky community members reminds me of my own little village of friendly faces and makes me smile. The story is so cute and the idea of Claire running the towns Christmas festival brought me great joy.
I loved reading about her progression as a character and enjoyed watching her develop when she moves back in with her mother.
