I really enjoyed reading The Country Village Christmas Show...and it was easy to read but hard to put down!!
Clare's character is brilliant, she's authentic and strong. The plot was full of festive fun, entertaining antics and great chemistry! The supporting characters were likeable too, Kyle, Clare's son and Irene, Clare's mum were both stand outs for me!!
Goliath the Great Dane stole the show at times though!!
Humour, friendship and a big dollop of Christmas spirit made this the perfect pick me up read for a dreary autumn afternoon!
I've not read anything by Cathy Lake before but I will be adding her to my 'feel good' authors list now!
