The Country Village Christmas Show follows the lives of recently divorced Clare, and the vet Sam, as they are learning to live their lives and rediscover themselves in the village of little Bramble.
Overall, I found this an enjoyable book. It was a nice easy read, and perfect for the Christmas holidays. I felt I could connect with the characters, and at times I couldn't put this book down. I loved the structure of switching between the two characters, Clare and Sam, as it really demonstrated and emphasised the impacts they had on each others lives.
Whilst I did enjoy the story, I have to admit that this book is quite predictable and a little uninspiring. In places the dialogue between characters wasn't particularly convincing either. However, this didn't ruin the overall effect of the book and so I would still recommend it to others.
