This book is a lovely heartfelt and uplifting story to curl up with on the settee. It is easy to read and you easily get absorbed into the characters and storyline. Claire decides to move back to Little Bramble to stay with her mum after her recent divorce and decides she needs to do something for herself. After spending most of her adult life looking after the family and now her son is all grown up she decides to do something for herself. She finds herself running the village Christmas show with her mum and her son who is back from uni and this gives her some purpose to her life back. With Goliath, her mum's great dane she has quite a few run ins with the local vet and you feel that this is going to bring the happy ending she needs. I love the characters in this story and enjoyed that it was very much a happy story with some Christmas cheer alongside.
