I really, really loved this book. It is just what I needed, with everything being a bit bleak at the moment, it was so nice to read this uplifting book. I found that I was able to relax and escape into another world and I couldn't put it down.
Clare is such a likeable and relatable character, very early in the book you feel a connection with her which makes it all the more enjoyable to read. It is about so much more than just the Christmas show and you really feel like you begin to know the characters and share in their lives.
It is a feel good read and although it is not quite time for Christmas yet it really does get you in the mood and offers a little bit of a cosy escape. It is not over the top festive and cheesy but still manages to get you in the spirit.
I have really enjoyed snuggling up on the dark wet evenings we have been having and immersing myself in this book, I look forward to more form this author.
