This is a classically traditional Christmas novel and I enjoyed reading it curling up the warmth this Christmas. A front cover is always important to me with a Christmas novel and this one is beautiful. The story revolves around the main character of Clare who returns home to find love and start her life all over again. It was quite obvious what was going to happen in this book, as if often the case with romance books. I’m not sure I was a massive fan of Sam if I’m honest - think he was a bit of a sap! But the stories between them interweaved nicey. The character of. CLare was probably my favourite one if I’m honest and that’s saying something as she isn’t really that much of an interesting characters. I probably would read a novel from this author but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it was my favourite Christmas novel. Still I have given it 4 stars ⭐️
