What a lovely easy read
I loved the characters in this book . It was great to share Claire’s journey as a recent divorcee , she went home to the village she grew up in , went on to rekindle old friendships and she thoroughly enjoyed having her childhood friend back in her life again . She also learnt why her mum had been a little difficult over the years and it was lovely to be part of the journey with Claire and her mother and how they got to know each other so well written that at times I felt like it was in the room with them . The part of the story with Claire and Sam kept me guessing as Claire learnt that she was more than just a mum , and that she had so much more to give , she learnt to love and be loved back something I think she thought she would never have again .
All in all a great Christmasy read the author managing to bring the characters alive a book that I would definitely recommend.
