I liked this story a lot and I thought it was a lovely cosy and heartwarming read. The story is about Clare who has had a marriage breakup and is having to sell the family home. Clare has also lost her job and so decides to move home to her mum at Little Bramble. The relationship between mother and daughter hasn't been strong in the past and so Clare sets out to make them closer. The story also follows Sam who is a bit lost in his life and is struggling with his relationship with his sister so the story also follows him making his relationship stronger. The story also follows the community and how they come together at Christmas. There are festive feels in the story with the lighting of the Christmas tree and the snow that falls on this cute village. The only disappointment was that there wasn't much story around the Christmas show as the title suggests, I think I would have loved more about that but overall a lovely story for this time of year.
