Wow, great first impressions. This book is definitely for me. I absolutely love a Christmas themed book and the storyline of this book sounds great and right up my street. The cover of the book is stunning. This sounds just the tonic for a Lockdown Christmas.
The heartbreak of a recent divorce is relatable for so many people but with the added layer of an opportunity for the main character to ‘find themselves’ again bodes well for a truly heart warming Christmas. It definitely sounds like a book to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Just what we need at the moment - something like Christmas to look forward to. The synopsis makes it sound as if it is an easy read - that is also what is needed - I find I cannot concentrate on anything too difficult and hard going at the moment. To win this would be great. This book looks so sweet and kitsch. The cover is so sweet that it is almost a Christmas card itself. The story seems so close to my families life, my own mother divorced, started a whole new life and sometimes finds herself a bit reluctant to even entertain the idea of a future romance. I think If I could review this book, she would be the next person I pass the book on to.
