I thoroughly enjoyed this festive novel! From the beginning I warmed to the main character of Clare and got into the story really quickly. The other characters were all well developed and I liked that each of the characters had their own story too.
I liked the style of writing as it was easy to follow and so I read a lot of this book in one sitting which I don’t often do. I kept reading just one more chapter as I wanted to know what would happen next for Clare and the other characters.
The setting of Little Bramble was also perfect for the story; the lovely countryside descriptions, the relaxing dog walks and the evidently quieter pace of life has me wanting to move to somewhere like this village!
I also think this book would make a really good film and one I would definitely watch. This book is a really enjoyable read and is one that I would recommend to others!
