This is a lovely little cost Christmas read.

This follows Clare, who moves back home to her mums house after she has divorced her husband. She is in her mid 40’s and has a twenty-year-old son who is away at university.

She has always put her family first and now she feels it is time she did something for herself. The little village she moved back too as lost a little bit of its community spirit since the village hall burnt down 2 years ago. And Clare also notices her mums spirit as gone since then too. So Clare decides to put on a Christmas Show in the new village hall.

Clare also meets one of the local villages and a little romance starts between them. kyle, Clare’s son also move in with them as he has broken up with his boyfriend and wants to take a gap year from is education.

I really love the character of Kyle, he was so fun and made me laugh.

To be honest, the village Christmas Show was only a bit of the book, I thought there would be a bit more happening in the day of the show.

Overall it was a nice cosy read and left me feeling all fuzzy inside.

The only thing I can say that started of bad about the book but in the end was quite fun, was the number of times the author mentions the name of the village. After I read ‘Little Bramble’ for the 9th time, I was like – ok, we all know the name of the village you don’t have to keep reminding up. But it still kept popping up, so the. It became like a little game and every time I read it I placed a little sticky tab on the page. I counted it 58 times! And I may have even missed some at that lol.
