This book was a lovely holiday read and makes you realise it’s never to late to fin love. I must say it was the front cover that captured my attention - I love it! It’s gorgeous and such a perfect warming cover for a Christmas book.
In this novel I was pleased to see how Clare learns to live the life she likes and put herself first for a change rather than everyone else like she has done the rest of her life. She begins to realise that it is never too late to find real love. I also loved to read about the community who looked out for each other and help each other whenever possible. It must be great to live like that.
However, I was a little disappointed that there was not more of the Christmas show they were preparing for weeks, I felt like it was building up to that however it wasn’t at the forefront like it should have been. All in all it is a nice warm reading with loveable characters to prepare you for the holidays.
