This is exactly the kind of light-hearted, warm read that I love to curl up and lose myself in. Just from reading that small extract I cam already tell where the story is going. Some people might not like to see how the story is going to go right from the beginning but I love that style. Seeing how it gets there is the important part. The characters all seem like they will be really interesting, plenty of back story to discover. The town of Little Bramble sounds like your picture perfect wee village that will provide the perfect wintry backdrop to this wintry tale. The writing is easy to follow and seems to have a really good flow to it. I can picture this as a hallmark Christmas movie (which happen to be my favourite type of movies!) I would definitely like to read this book and discover the blossoming of the main characters relationship and self-discovery as they navigate their new lives.
