This book is wonderful it’s like a big comfy lemsip chair (if you remember the advert ) with unlimited hot brews, a log fire in a cabin looking out at snowy woods toasting marshmallows on the fire.
It is just lovely and it’s heartbreaking and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It was almost a little bit like an adult narnia feeling.
I loved the characters, the description and the storyline and I did disappear into this book and enjoyed every word from start to finish.
I don’t normally read these books and could count on one hand the number of Christmas books I’ve read and I don’t watch a lot of tv but love a good Christmas movie and this book was way better than that.
I normally give my books away but this will kept and reread next Christmas - I feel this may not be a new Christmas tradition and it’s even encouraged me to read another which again I throughly enjoyed so it’s changed my December reads !
