I adored adored this book. It took me 50 pages to really become invested in this novel and I really didn't think I would enjoy it too much but I started it at 10pm at night and ready until 2am and I simply could not put it down. It was so heart-warming and I became so ready to hear about each character that we heard about from Clare and her mum to then when Clare's son Kyle became involved and the vet. Oh the dreamy clever vet.
It was nice to read about a man showing his emotion and caring for his sister with such love and protection. I thoroughly enjoyed the way this book made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. A perfect easy read for a very hectic Christmas season and year that has been filled with more worry and fear than anything. This book definitely allowed me to just relax and take a much needed breather.
It was written well and Goliath quickly became my favourite character in all of this the huge cuddly beast he is. I will be disinfecting and hopefully able to pass on to other family members for others to enjoy this brilliantly festive read.
