A perfect read for fans of elves and strong female lead
This is a ya fantasy book that follows the story of a human girl called Jude and her living in the High Court of Faerie. There reins beautiful mythical creatures with all sorts of features; blue skin, tails, wings etc. But as beautiful as they may be, their dismay towards human is big. The story features a very strong female lead who you definitely will root for and also Prince Cardan, the youngest son of the High King who seems to despise Jude.
I personally really enjoyed reading this book. The pace was just right and for me it lived up to the hype. The characters were interesting and the writing was really easy to read and quite enjoyable. There is a big twist at the end (which was spoiled to me) but for those who know nothing about it, you will come to truly appreciate how the story plays out. Its part of a trilogy and the book definitely leaves you wanting to read more. An excellent read, in my opinion.
