I'll be honest in saying that , despite all the hype that surrounded this book for so long , I personally didn’t find any real enjoyment fromthis book despite finishing it eventually.

The writing really wasn't as well written as I had initially expected. Often, throughout various sections of the novel , the writing began to feel lazy and there were multiple areas that ruined any immersion I had in the story overall due to faults in the pacing. For instance, the needless flood of pointless information in chapter 6 which threw the entire feeling off.

I disliked a large percentage of the characters, especially Jude. Instead of doing anything productive or useful about the problems she faces it seems like all Jude ever does is constantly, woefully complain about them.

It seems that Vivi is the only one who makes anything close to an effort in coping and dealing with things in an understanding manner, something that only serves to create further frustration when looking at the others.
