Well, I am in utter shock. I must admit that this book is absolutely amazing! I'm not the type of person to read fantasy but I was so pulled into this book that I could not put it down and I cannot wait for the other two books to come out.
A mortal girl, along with her two sisters witnessed the death of her mother, resulting in her being taken to a realm full of mystical creatures. Jude (the protagonist) has a dream of becoming a knight and working for the High King. However, not everything goes to plan, leading to her lifestyle and future completely changing.
I must say that Jude is quite a likeable character, very determined and down to earth. I must say that the only thing I'm disappointed with is that Judes *SPOILER AHEAD* romantic life didn't really go to plan.
Moving on, I highly recommend this fantastic fantasy book written by Holly Black and I am very impressed with the plot and context. Super excited for the other two books in the series to come out!
