I have had this trilogy on my radar for a while now, ever since I read the ACOTAR series and was looking for something similar. I dived in this month and I am definitely hooked.
It took me a little while to get into and feel fully invested but as soon as I wrapped my head around the characters and world-building I was gripped. Jude is a real standout character, human but desperate to be accepted into the world of Faerie. She's strong, stubborn, clever and an all round kickass young woman.
This book is full of plot twists, backstabbing, intrigue and pure brutality. Its addictive and dangerous and I'm super excited to read book 2. The characters are brilliant and you will definitely love to hate a vast majority of them which always keep me interested. Its YA so bare that in mind but I loved it and can't wait to continue Jude's story and see where it takes me!
