This was absolutely fantastic. When I first heard about it I was really excited to read it as it involves faeries, and since I had never previously read a book with faeries I was really excited to pick this up. But this book absolutely exceeded expectations. I expected a cliche/typical story, but this was so much better than I had anticipated.
The writing was really smooth and flowed nicely. Holly Black is a fantastic writer and I would happily pick up her other books to read. I really enjoyed the plot of the book and the development of characters. I cannot wait for the sequel to come out, really excited to find out what happens next.
If you have not yet picked this book up, I highly reccomend that you do.
