The Cruel Prince is an impeccable example for the enemies to lover forte, the tension between the characters had always left me wanting to know how relationships develop and if characters met they're goal.
The story a human girl Jude living among faeries had been a good concept, the constant battle of wanting to become a knight and fit in among the royal family gave an interesting view point to Jude's life which pushed the reader with wanting to know about her maybe success. However the story soon become slow paced or too rushed at certain parts of the book which became a bit agitating to read. Some elements of the book also lacked anything unique or overally exciting or shocking to the reader, having the basic trope of a handsome guy and confident female character to love, I do not see so much more to love to the story. The book is beautifully written but very overhyped in my opinion.
