This book got me out of a month long reading slump! I originally found it on tiktok, and thought that it would be a good idea to try it out. I was immediately drawn into the faerie world. The characters are so compelling, especially Cardan and Jude. I also loved to see the character development, and watch as certain relationships and bonds grew stronger. Along with the characters, I thought that the plot was amazing, and overall very well done. In a way, Jude can be relatable, as she is in a place where she feels like she doesn’t fit in. The plot was built around the characters beautifully! Also, I love Holly Black’s writing style, and she is now one of my favourite authors because of this book. I can’t wait to read the next one!
