Is 'The Cruel Prince' one of the best trilogies I've ever read? Yes, 100% yes.
Jude Duarte is a powerful and interesting main character, who's attempting to live among the fae as a human girl, however she is not portrayed in a weak manor compared to the fae! She is wicked and scheming and has so much will and anger that reading her revenge on some of the fae who have wronged her is so refreshing and interesting.
Especially, since the story focuses on the bullying of her human-heritage to that of being a fae, and her response is nothing but feral revenge! Something I love about her character.
And of course, my favorite part of the novel, a to-die-for enemies to lovers romance! You know the type, I hate you with every fiber of my being but at the same time, i'm drawn to you and can't imagine a life without you!! A trope that will always have a special place in my heart.
