This book has always peaked my interest being about fairies and love. I was happy to see the prologue hits you straight away with a firm start. Needing you to want more. The writing style is very slow to read. I can't read more than a couple of chapters at a time, however Holly Black does go into detail and world builds well.
I'm intreguied to see how Jude and Prince Cardan's characters develop through-out the book as from the first couple of chapters, you can tell they may have something going on. As for other characters, I don't get a good feel from Vivi and can tell she may turn dark.
I'm interested to read more and if I enjoy it I will go on to read the sequel.
