I found the book a bit boring... it didn't interest me as much as I hoped it would. Don't get me wrong the writing style is gorgeous and how she describes the world and the characters paints the picture perfectly, but it was very slow and didn't pick up until the end and that really put me off.
When I read books like these I really struggle to not just put the book down and never pick it up again, so I had to force myself to read this which is really not what you want in a fantasy book. Fantasy books should make you want to read all night, they should pull you into that world and never want to leave but unfortunately this book didn't really do that for me and I think that's a shame for both me and the author.
