This is a brilliant start to a new series. It's the first time I've read Black and won't be the last.
Great world building of the fae Kingdom - love the fact that they can pass from one to the other when the need arises - or to mingle with the humans!
The book starts with a complete in your face beginning that has you hooked from the beginning and dying to learn more.
The characters are excellent - you are wanting to read more as to how each of them develops throughout the book.
The last quarter of the book has so many twists and turns that you are on the edge of your seat reading each section.
A great cliff hanger ending - can't wait to read the next one.
