I LOVED this book, seeing the beginning of the enemies to (hopefully) lovers relationship between Cardan and Jude was amazing. Black developed Jude's character so well and gave us a real insight into how Jude viewed the people surrounding herself. It kept you on your toes with loads of twists and turns throughout. Jude however does seem to lack a bit of self respect/esteem but hopefully in the next few books we will be able to see a change in this and to see some good old character growth. Cardan's character was well written and fits well with Jude. Once you pick this book up you will not want to put it down, the ending was a plot twist and a half and you won't want to wait until you can get your hands on the second book!
