I usually enjoy reading a couple of Holly Black’s books however, this one just wasn’t at the top of my list. This book was so hyped up. Everyone loved this book but I think that it is overrated and I don’t like it. In my opinion, I would have liked more of the romance and less politics. More romance would have gotten me to like it a little more. I felt like due to the many politics conversations and planning, at times, it was dragging and a little boring here and there. I wish that the relationship between the prince and Jude would grow better. I did actually liked Jude’s character but her twin sister Taryn was really annoying. Honestly, I am not really into the fae fantasy world kind of read so this just wasn’t it for me.
