Holly Black's name and her fantastic work in YA literature goes before her and makes you think that this is going to be a great quality fantasy read before you even get started. And I wasn't disappointed. The Cruel Prince is intriguing, dramatic and exciting from the first sentence. This would be great for older children, teenagers and adults alike, anyone who has an interest in the fantasy genre could find something in this book for them. The characters have depth and enthralling personalities and the story draws you in and keeps you reading. A great all rounder and fantastic work from Holly Black - I look forward to reading more of her work in the future. Huge thanks for letting me read a sneek peek!
